Luxury in a rustic loft

5 of 5
The pictures say it all--the apartment is spotless and new, outfitted with everything you might need for a cozy romantic getaway. The location was perfect for us as we had family staying close by, and we were able to have our own place to come home to. The river views are great from your private balcony for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Nice sheets and towels, great comfy bed. Awesome shower! Doug and Cheryl were friendly and responsive hosts, making our stay trouble free and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay--from the cucumbers from your garden to the fresh flowers and chocolates. We would love to plan another trip to go tubing again.

Beautiful, well equipped home in nature

5 of 5
From meeting Mr Ginter upon arrival to checking out we were thrilled with the property. A beautiful historic home with cool old features but all the newest amenities nestled in the woods. The location is remote and beautiful- no one anywhere close. A creek on the property and a plethora of hiking trails surrounding we got to hike to ponds and waterfalls and enjoy fire pits (yes there is more than 1!) at night... Kitchen is stocked as you would stock your own. Perfect location to get away from it all- we highly recommend it! Thank you gant!

Wonderful stay at this cozy cabin!

5 of 5
I can't say enough about this wonderful property! The cabin was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There was nothing missing we could have asked for - there was even shampoo and conditioner in the shower! As many previous reviewers have noted, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Getting out of bed in the morning was the only chore of our day. Doug and Cheryl were very helpful throughout our short stay. Doug suggested a lovely hike for us to take, and was kind enough to let us interrupt his busy day to drive us up the river and supply tubes (and Cheryl dug up a floating cooler!) so we could tube back to the house. The location of this cabin is wonderful with riverfront views and close access to the lake. We were also able to use their kayaks for a quick trip out on the lake. We couldn't have asked for more and we will definitely be back again, hopefully for a longer stay!
