There were other houses near this rental but they seen to be empty except weekends. Lake Ontario was lovely, so much more water than we usually see in our dry Texas. We even got rain while we were there. So lovely. Sunsets are beautiful, we would not know about sunrises, we did not get up before 6 AM. We had 4 adults, and two boys, 5 and 1. We were a little crowded with not quite enough storage space. I know the space is limited but a folding chair or two would help with eating arrangements especially when raining. We spent 8 days there which we enjoyed and visited sights in every direction. We had not visited western New York before and we found it was delightful compared to the rat race of New York City.
There were plenty of maps, brochures of place to visit, games, videos and cooking equipment. Bring your groceries with you especially if you are running late. At night the closest place is Medina for groceries.
It felt so peaceful and no noises of the city. We loved how it seem it like a private beach for just us.
Thank you for your peaceful place and it was fun exploring in all directions - west to Niagara Falls, Lockport, Old Fort Niagara, and Olcott for children rides, east to Rochester to more lighthouses, south east to Leroy Jello, Cooperstown baseball, Howard NY to wedding, and the grand canyon of the east.
It was fun and the people were very nice especially at the railroad museum.
I did not mark disabilities or handicap since the steps into the house (2 or 3) were steep and the house has no clear pathway to move through the house.
