Best place to stay for visitors !!

5 of 5
We were visiting NYC and we rented this place based on the photographs and reviews. This is the best place to stay at. Bruce is a very helpful host. This place is just opposite to the C Line Subway station which was very convenient to us. The place is clean and as shown in the photographs. We were lucky enough to get a parking just opposite to the house. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there when we go to NYC again. Thanks Burce !!

Quiet and Comfortable

4 of 5
The apt was very quiet, comfortable and convenient. Very easy to get to by subway ($7.75 per person), airport bus to Port Authority terminal ($16 per person) or cab ($52 flat rate plus toll and tip about $70) from JFK.

Brooklyn Is The Place to Be

5 of 5
Our family of five enjoyed four nights in this comfortable brownstone. We fell in love with Brooklyn, which though huge, is a borough of neighborhoods. The residence is about an 8 minute walk to the subway (a Q train gets you to the south end of Central Park in 30 minutes), and to Prospect Park, which is Brooklyn's own Central Park. The residence is located in a diverse, historical, "real" neighborhood. We enjoyed sweets from Cinnamon Girl, dinners at King of Tandoor and J&J Jamaican restaurants, and breakfast at Wholesome Foods, all within a 5 minute walk. We also took in an Easter service at Brooklyn Tabernacle; took in Coney Island rides/games/boardwalk; hiked through Prospect Park; explored neighborhoods like Midwood, Brighton Beach, Park Slope and Borough Park; and walked over the Brooklyn Bridge---all (except for Coney Island and $31 for a 7 day METRO pass) for free. A bottle of wine and Snickers treats were a nice welcome, and the residence was a great place to launch out from and return to at the end of adventures. The residence also doubles as art and photography gallery that displays the owners' striking creations. Skip Manhattan, and come (or at least stay) here.
