Terrific place to call home when away from home.

5 of 5
The rental in these photos is exactly what you'll find when you walk in. We were greeted with a basket of fruit, crackers, and goodies, along with fresh flowers, and note welcoming us. I was surprised to see extra toothbrushes, soaps, and shampoo in the bathroom, as well as a few items in the fridge like milk and juices. The fancy Keurig machine and the selection of coffees was pretty cool. The apartment was absolutely spotless - I can't say more about this; it was super clean. They have housekeeping service that comes by every couple days, depending on the length of your stay. The subway station is just outside about 1 1/2 blocks away and the ride to Times Square is about 10 stops away. I was concerned about finding street parking, but was able to find a spot for my Dodge Caravan a couple doors down (be sure to collapse those mirrors; it could be a tight squeeze). My wife and I were travelling to New York with our three kids; In the photos is a single, dark brown leather chair near the master bedroom. We expected our 10 year old son to just sleep on the couch (he was going to love that anyway), but when we arrived, I was surprised to see the leather chair missing. In its place was an inflated AeroBed; the bed was already made complete with linens and pillows. That was really considerate and we appreciated that. One minor thing of note: I believe the address I was given was actually that of the owners as that door didn’t have the digital deadbolt lock installed on it. The rental is actually the unit immediately next door on the left; its door was also painted a different colour from what is shown in the pictures. No biggie. A note on getting there. Beware of tolls! This is a fact of life for New Yorkers, but visitors will be in for a shock if coming down via the I-87 and heading to Queens. If using a GPS, be sure to set it to avoid toll highways. It should then guide you down the FDR Drive and across the Queensboro bridge. We were dinged about $20 in tolls just getting to the rental. I think future renters will appreciate knowing this information. All in all, we would definitely rent this properly again, and we would recommend it to others. Finding a hotel for 4 people in Manhattan is easy; finding one for 5 is impossible unless you want to spend over $600/night. $300/night for this rental is definitely a fair price. Fabulous

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harlem Hideaway and would highly recommended it. Denis was a great host and the apartment was in a great location with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets and the subway. Only real issue was the shower was located over the bath which was too high off the ground and was little tricky too get out without slipping.

Great memories

5 of 5
The one bedroom apartment we stayed in at TEN15NYC exceeded all of our expectations. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped, and the bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is newly renovated and has a shower that, as my 11 year old daughter said, "makes you feel like you are showering under a waterfall!" It's conveniently located right on 6th Avenue and is just minutes away from several subway stations, giving you easy access to the entire city. We had such a great time that we are planning to come back for Thanksgiving to watch the parade from right outside the door.
