Cozy!

4 of 5
My son and I enjoyed this cozy home away from our home. The room was nice and clean. The owner was friendly and cooperative. I will definitely come back again.

Excellent place to stay in great location

5 of 5
This was a great NYC rental. It's well located in that the street itself is fairly quiet but it's a fine walk to Times Square, Greenwich Village, the UN or Fifth Avenue. Near the subway and plenty of restaurants and stores. The townhouse itself is great for a family or group. Three good bedrooms -- one king, one queen and one with two twins and plenty of baths (2 1/2), good hanging out space in the living room and dining room and a very nice and well-equipped kitchen. Decent number & quality towels, linens, etc. There's even some outdoor space but it was a little cold for us to enjoy that. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Altogether a terrific experience.

Great place to stay but it could be even better!

4 of 5
First let me say that this was a great place to stay. The location in Brooklyn is very convenient to many Brooklyn attractions such as the Art Museum and Botanical Gardens. It is also easy to get into Manhattan because the C line subway is literally right around the corner. There is a terrific food store also a half block away where we bought food and cooked all our dinners in the house because we had kids with us and it was so cold that weekend. There is also a wonderful coffee shop/cafe next to the food store. The kitchen and appliances all worked really well and the bathrooms were terrific with great water pressure and rain water shower heads. The only real negatives were the following: The first floor was COLD. Granted it was a unusually cold weekend, but the back door and front windows are not at all air tight. We could see light through the sides of the back door and obviously a lot of cold air was coming through. The upstairs was lovely and warm, but that's where the bedrooms are and not where we wanted to hang out. Luckily we brought extra blankets to wrap up in. The only other improvement the owners could make is to have more/better pillows for the beds. These are the two things keeping me from giving the house a 5 star rating.
