WONDERFUL STAY IN CENTRAL HARLEM!

4 of 5
The owner (and her lovely family!) helped me book this apartment for my mother prior to the birth of my baby girl. She was extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, and made my mother feel right at home during her first trip to Harlem. She was responsive to all of our needs and even popped by to make sure my mother was doing OK while I was busy with the newborn. Apartment is in great condition, in a luxury building with full amenities. The location is perfect - a short 1 minute walk to the A, B, C, D trains, 5 minute walk to the 1 train and a 4 minute walk to the 3 train. I will definitely be booking this apartment for future visiting family!!

EXCELLENT LOCATION, EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED.

4 of 5
We were very happy with our accommodation. The apartment was exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures. A terrific location very close to Broadway and not far from other great destinations. A supermarket is just up the road and on the 9th Ave so many restaurants you're spoilt for choice. It was great to be greeted by Angela who was in contact before we arrived. A good touch to get the info and low down on where we need to go and what was available to us in the apartment. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting NY and we will happily stay there again.

STAY HERE WITH YOUR FAMILY

5 of 5
We just returned from NYC where our family (Mum, Dad, boys aged 15 and 13) stayed in apartment 2F. First off, the position is awesome. The subway (# 6 train) is two blocks away at 97th st station. There are two supermarkets, two or three huge pharmacies and multiple restaurants, bars and take-out places within about a block. Central park is 4 blocks away and the entry is at the Jackie Onassis lake level about another 10-20 minute walk from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim. The building is clean, with an elevator (lift). The apartment we stayed in was on Floor 2 but was not overly noisy despite facing East 97th Street. There is major construction next door and across the road but this also did not affect us. The rooms are reasonably sized (queen bed easily fits) and the appliances that are there work well and seem pretty new. The shower / bath was terrific with good water pressure and ample hot water. Areas that could be improved include one major thing - the apartment is really bright and has no black out blinds or curtains. There is a sheer blind that stops prying eyes looking in, but in Summer the sun comes up early and we had to sleep with airline masks. Minor improvements in available storage for clothes and everyone's bits and pieces, and more cooking utensils would be good but no deal breaker. The host, Jennifer is really helpful and communicative. She provides a list of local eateries including enThaice which was terrific. If you are in NYC for a length of time then you will feel right at home here. We did.
