Review of B3 apartment

5 of 5
This is a review of the smaller apartment own by the same owner. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. it has 3 levels. First with bathrooms, the kitchen, the dining area and the living room. One bathroom is really small. The computer and TV with Dish network are available in the living room. Also one bedroom is on the first floor. The train can be heard from this bedroom. However, it wasn't too annoying overall. Kids didn't complain about it too much. And this subway train by the way is the best way to get to the city. The subway station is 100 yards away from the apartment. 2 additional bedrooms are on the second level. The deck with a nice view is on the 3 level. Air conditioners are in every room with its own remote. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everywhere is a hardwood floor. W have been staying there in 8 people. Small grocery stores are around the apartment. Overall everyone was satisfy from this apartment. It was a great deal for the money.

This apartment has everything!

5 of 5
The apartment is exactly as stated. It is in a great neighborhood, very quiet, clean, near public transport. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in the apartment. And, there are many amazing restaurants, cafés, delis. The food in Bay Ridge is plentiful, inexpensive and of quality. Thanks for such an amazing two week stay.

Great unit with INCREDIBLE location

5 of 5
I recently stayed in this unit for a week with my wife and three teenage daughters. We had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend renting this unit. The number one plus is the location - INCREDIBLE. It is, as advertised, just steps from Central Park. In fact, it is just around the corner from the park, on a quiet, tree lined one way street heading towards Central Park West, so has very little traffic despite its convenient location. The subway and National History museum are a block away, and it was a ten minute walk across the park to the Met. We spent the entire week exploring the city on the subway with no car or taxi's, and this location made that very doable. Even coming back late at night after shows, etc., felt safe because of the closeness to the subway and Central Park West. The unit itself was modern and VERY clean. There were plenty of plates, utensils, towels, blankets, etc., etc. The queen in the bedroom was very comfortable. The girls slept on the futon, that folded flat and the couch, and were fine on both. They tried the pullout bed in the couch, but found it somewhat uncomfortable -- typical of pullouts -- because of the thin mattress and frame. But there was also an inflatable mattress which they didn't try or need. Because of it's back side location, the unit was very quiet -- we could hear no street noise at all, and the lovely garden in back was vacant most days and nights. My wife and I got up every morning and strolled the neighborhood, finding new, great eating places and lovely tree lined avenues before we headed out for the day's adventure with the girls. The owners were responsive to calls and e-mails, friendly and helpful. We really thought we got the Manhattan experience we hoped for, and this rental was a big reason.
