Fantastic Rental!

5 of 5
11 of us girlfriends just spent 3 nights at the Brownstone. Could not have been a better place for us to stay...2-3 blocks to subway at Park & 28th St. or 3-4 blocks to Park & 33rd St. Great local bars/restaurants within walking distance (on 30th ,The Mason Jar and on 3rd Ave, Nick's Pizza Bar, Penelope's, etc. that accommodated all of us! ) Very spacious rooms...never felt 'on top of each other'. Also, building is very secure and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe and walking distance to Empire State Building (which several did on Sun. night). Highly recommend.

Beautiful and centrally located

5 of 5
This was our first experience in staying in apartment in NYC vs. a hotel, and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The host was more than attentive to our requests. The large windows overlooking the empire state building is a priceless feature for the city. The apt is very clean and well taken care of. The location speaks for itself (next to restaurants, cafes, and bars and within walking distance to Central Park, Union Square and the subways). Will definitely be back!

Excellent location to enjoy New York's daily life

4 of 5
We were a group of 4 friends travelling to NY in October 2009. We had choosed the apartement for its central location + its reasonable price. Located on the Lexington av. a few blocs from the Empire State B, and more closer to a subway station, approximatively 20 to 30 min walk from Time Square, the appartement fits perfectly for first timers in the Big Apple as well as for more experienced tourists in NY. We felt at home in this really spacious appartement and especially enjoyed the open kitchen and dining room, the bedrooms and bathrooms. It is the perfect place to relax after museum, shopping, to have a break before getting out again for the evening... The neighboroughood offers everything needed to jump into the daily life of New Yorkers. And, Lucia, the owner, is allways ready to help her guests. En résumé, pour les lecteurs francophones : un appart vraiment spacieux (2e étage sur 3), très bien situé, très bon quartier, confortable (chambres et salles de bain très bien). Et une hôtesse accueillante et serviable.
