Awesome view, convenient and clean

5 of 5
From the time we arrived until we left a week later, we could not believe our good fortune of finding this great condo. It is in an ideal spot, convenient to all. If you like to walk NYC, then you are near all. Besides walking to Time Square, the theaters district and Rockefeller Center, we walked to Columbus Circle, Eataly, St Patrick's and Bar Americain. It was a 12 min walk to to my granddaught's theater camp on 52nd Street Four of us stayed and slept comfortably using two aerobeds and the bedroom. Very clean! And just as ad pictured. Contacts with owner were prompt and professionally handled . We will return !

Excellent location, exactly as described.

We were very happy with our accommodation. The apartment was exactly as advertised and shown in the pictures. A terrific location very close to Broadway and not far from other great destinations. A supermarket is just up the road and on the 9th Ave so many restaurants you're spoilt for choice. It was great to be greeted by Angela who was in contact before we arrived. A good touch to get the info and low down on where we need to go and what was available to us in the apartment. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting NY and we will happily stay there again.

QUAINT APT - GREAT VALUE & LOCATION!!

5 of 5
Took my daughter to NYC for her 21st birthday. After reading reviews/looking at lots of apt & condo's-we chose Kevin's apartment because we wanted to "experience" New York like a New Yorker & not stay in a hotel -- we were not disappointed! The apartment was clean & looks just like the photos; the walls & floors are solid-we never heard any noise from neighbors. Kevin was very prompt in all communications-we texted him upon our arrival at LGA and he met us to hand over the keys & explain the apt & made suggestions for taking the subway/buses/taxis. We used the little store on 34th to get water & snacks. We used the subway, 5 minute walk to 34th & 7th, to go everywhere-were never worried about our safety-just use your best judgement as to where you go at night. We used a taxi to/from the airport-paid about $40-42 with a tip. If you are doing a lot of sightseeing,I highly recommend the 7-day Unlimited Metro Card for $30/each person - or you can get a single card one to share & re-load as needed, but for the 5 days we were there, the unlimited is the best bargain - but you can't share it as there is a 15 minute time delay to re-swipe. As stated in other reviews, the building is dated, but the doormen & resident's we met were all very friendly & helpful. The location is convenient for Chelsea, midtown, Times Square, the High Line. The kitchen is small but functional; the living room & bedroom were larger than what you would expect for a 1-BR in Manhattan. Bed was very comfortable - you'll need to use the curtains unless you like waking up early because the sun comes in both the BR and LR windows. There is street noise but being 8 floors up - it didn't bother us. A/C worked great - it was very hot while we were there. Water pressure for shower was great & heated quickly! Quick elevators! Leave your drier at home as there is one to use; also, good supply of shampoo/bath wash unless you have to have your brand. We would definitely stay there again -- we felt it was an excellent value. We ate at a lot of different places-not one bad meal & all reasonably priced for the portion's rec'd (we shared a lot): Isabella's,Amici II in Little Italy,The View,Katz Deli,Carnegie Deli,Caliente Cab Co,Bubby's in TriBeCa, Shake Shack in Madison Sq Park,Sardi's,Serendipity (for dessert!!). This was my 3rd visit but I felt like she needed to go on a tour-we used OnBoard Tours "See It All"-Small vans with A/C & knowledgeable tour guide. The Lion King was A+! Wear comfy shoes!!
