Felt like home

5 of 5
The apartment was just perfect. Great location within walking distance to many places you want to visit in NYC. Good access to subway and busses. Safe neighbourhood, friendly and helpful doormen. Easy accessible laundry facilities in the building. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need, from well-equipped kitchen to towels, linens and a nice coffee maker. The bed is very comfortable, good mattress. Free wifi, flat screen. Very nice contact to owner. Thank you. This was my second stay in the building (same owners, different apartments). I immediately felt at home in both of them and would recommend them to anyone.

An Ideal Place in Manhattan

5 of 5
My first impression on stepping into the apartment was space, a rare commodity in Manhattan. The ceilings are high and the rooms spacious, with a fantastic view. The living room is furnished with handsome Art Deco upholstered chairs and loveseat; the kitchen is sparkling and fully stocked with equipment; the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The bedroom is also spacious and the bed itself has something like a Tempurpedic mattress -- perfect after a long day of sight-seeing and nighttime theater. My correspondence with John were excellent and he couldn't have been more helpful: a true gentleman. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to taste genuine -- not "touristy" -- New York life on the East Side. There's a Whole Foods nearby, super restaurants in the neighborhood, and Bloomingdale's is only three blocks up Lexington Avenue. I could walk almost everywhere, and when I needed to take transportation the subway was just two blocks away; crosstown busses are two blocks in the other direction. What could be more convenient? This is a perfect place for a New York stay, whether for business or pleasure. Highly, highly recommended by a grateful guest.

Proud to be the first customer!

5 of 5
I have to confess that Rick gave me a good deal on this place because he just got it and the furniture was still arriving. I can tell you that it was nice already! Once its completely done it will be an incredible apartment in the best location. I was able to easily get a subway train to anywhere I needed to go within a short 3 or 4 minute walk. Some of the rooms are on a busy street and others are on courtyard. So those who are light sleepers have rooms that are very quiet.
