"Really nice apartment. Absolutely the BEST Area"!

5 of 5
This was our first time to NYC and our first time using Home Away/VRBO. We were a bit overwhelmed trying to decide on an area to stay in. We were first going to stay in Midtown, Broadway area but decided to stay in Greenwich Village. We are so glad we stayed in the Village. As Greenwich Village was the right choice. It was safe, charming and had so much to do, with all the designer shops (great shopping), restaurants, art galleries, and the High Line Park. And very convenient to all the tourist sights and subways. When we were in midtown it was so crowded, bright and noisy. When you go there hang on to your children as it is easy to get separated from them, as by accident we briefly lost our 15 yo niece for a second and I started to panic but thank god for cell phones we were back together in no time . We were so glad to get back to the civil, quiet Village. The apartment was lovely for us girls. It had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, The Wi-Fi came in handy as well as the plethora of NYC travel brochures for planning our days. The Kitchen was great so we could just have breakfast in the apartment and get an early jump on the tourist sights. From our 1st request to our refund of our deposit all arrangements were easy and Joe was very nice and accommodating. Staying here made our trip a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this place. The girls :-)

Amazing Stay!

5 of 5
The space was clean, open, and well appointed. At least as nice as pictured. Having a nice sound system was a bonus! For four long friends in their 40's to reunite it was very comfortable. Would be equally great for two couples or a family. The location was incredible and made it easy to enjoy all the neighborhood has to offer. Also, Victor was a fantastic host; available, responsive, and made us feel welcome to feel at home for our long weekend. It's not cheap but nothing good is (esp in NYC). It was a good value in my opinion.

First Time in NYC. Perfect Place to Stay.

We picked this property for a few reasons. It was close to public transportation, a few blocks from Central Park, overnight long term parking close by, and several restaurants within walking distance. This apartment met all our expectations. We (3 adults) found the apartment to be just like described on the website. There was plenty of room for us. While the kitchen was small, it was loaded with everything we needed. We did find the ceiling low in the basement bedroom area. I am 5'3" and could touch the ceiling with my hand, but it was a large room with 2 queen beds and a dresser. It had new furniture throughout and as well as new bedding. We found the mattresses were comfortable. We brought a fan to use as a noise blocker, but we ran the dehumidifier in the bedroom during the day and night which worked well as a noise blocker as well as keeping the apartment comfortable. We found the apartment clean with fresh linens. The owner was very easy to contact and met us upon arrival. Gave us information about where to park our car ahead of time, which was in a parking garage one street over. This made it easy to get our luggage to and from the apartment. We enjoyed walking to the local restaurants and strolling through the park. We found the metro was within 2 blocks from the apartment which made getting around the city very easy. We will definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends. We'll rent again next time we are in NYC.
