TOP NOTCH LUXURY WITH A VIEW, A STREAM, A KILLER KITCHEN & ANYTHING YOU CAN ASK FOR IN A RENTAL

                    5 of 5
This was a last minute friend of a friend connection rental. We arrived broiled from the road and we all jumped straight into the salt water pool. Even my black lab joined in the fun. We floated for an hour with drinks in hand before we decided to treat ourselves to a meal out at Hello Bistro since we knew we would be cooking every meal for the remained of the stay at home. Yum, yum even a vegetarian option for my crazy sister at least she's not a vegan. Highly recommend checking it out. We did some late night grocery shopping ( next time I'll use the owners concierge service that she is now offering and let her have the place stocked for me). The evening wasn't quite chilly enough for an outdoor fire but what the heck the 8 year olds loved s'mores before bed. We jumped into our lovely crisp clean white sheets and we were out like a light. All three men and boys were out at dawn to fish. According to our anglers, the stream was to die for fishing. Private, quite and beautiful even if the water was high. Fish were caught on subsequent evenings with red wine in hand...lucky catch(es). We hired a local tennis pro and played when the rain stopped long enough for us to hit a few balls. Little kids played basket ball on the court right next to us. We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner happily in the awesome kitchen!!!! Wow, we easily put (3) pounds of bacon on the griddle each morning and whole wheat pancakes to boot...kids not happy about the whole wheat. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans fit for a kings chef. Blenders, mixers, sharp knives, platters, wood salads bowls...everything I wish I had in the City. When the gals (and even some guys) weren't cooking we were shopping in Livingston Manor or Roscoe. They have such cute little shops in each town. We did some antique shopping on the way to and from Roscoe. I need a bigger car next time. A few hick-ups like the rain no ones fault and the TV's being a bit on the small size but we will definitly return again. It took us 2.15 minutes from the GW Bridge and a bit longer coming home but we left at prime time. Thanks to Willow House for a wonderful time. --The Villard Family NYC, NY, (5) "old" people, (4) kids twin 8 year olds, one rotten 14 year old boy and 10 year old girly girl oh and a lab :)

                    Picturesque Home and Location

                    5 of 5
Our stay couldn't have been better at this wonderful home less than 2 hours from NYC. The home was more spacious than expected and was on beautiful, scenic property. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit in the evening (and making smores) and the vast sky full of stars which are not visible in NYC. And to accompany the scenic view are the serene sounds from the creek nearby. The home was cozy and stocked with games and dvds. The furnishings were extremely comfortable and the home is stocked with everything you need. The home is very well maintained. Patti Ann was very helpful in providing detailed information: directions, information about the property, and suggestions of things to do in the area. We booked this last minute and Patti Ann was very responsive. We loved the nearby state park - Mongaup Pond, which had fishing, very cheap kayak/canoe rentals and swimming. We caught 16 fish with one fishing pole and one handmade pole from a stick of wood! Great place! We also enjoyed Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park which had chickens and other animals and also a 20 minute hike to reach a beautiful waterfall. Also the town of Livingston Manor is very quaint and the people are so friendly. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and we loved staying at this home. I feel so rested after this trip! Oh and there are two precious miniature horses on property nearby.

Super lovely house, with porch and yard

                    5 of 5
We came here for a long weekend, and had two small children in tow and there was something for everyone. Fireplaces on each floor and a really lovely wraparound porch for the kids to play on while we relaxed in rockers and enjoyed the mountain view. There's a really great firepit too, that the grownups enjoyed when the kids were tucked away at night. Just a really great, super-clean and well-designed house. It's also near a cute town and state park. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
