Perfect place.

5 of 5
We can't say enough good things about this little cottage. Sweetly furnished (shabby chic upstairs, cozy Adirondack downstairs), immaculately clean, perfect location one block from the Oval and Main Street. Very private back yard and quiet neighborhood. Best of all, we were able to bring our dogs to this lovely house, which made for a perfect long weekend. There's a quiet access road buffered by woods behind the house, which was the perfect place to let the dogs run and play (in addition to the large, fenced-in yard space). While the house isn't huge, we fit our four kids perfectly, with the large beds and many couches. The house is essentially a split level, with an upstairs kitchen, eating area, master bedroom. The downstairs includes a big den, spacious bathroom and second bedroom. The layout keeps everyone from falling over one another. We loved it. Lastly, the owner was incredibly helpful, accommodating and easy to reach-- thanks again, Josh! We will definitely be back!

Great place for family vacation

5 of 5
We went to Camp Bearberry this past New Years with 3 families. We had 8 teenagers (17-18 yrs. old) and 4 parents. The house had plenty of room for all of us. Everyone was amazed with the home. It has all the amenities you could want. Kitchen is very well stocked with every type of pot, pan or tool you could need. Each of the bedrooms is tastefully decorated with Adirondack style furnishing. The highlight of the décor are the many incredible landscape paintings adoring the walls of the camp, which were painted by the homeowner, Kathie. Each of the bedrooms its own unique style. Think of Camp Bearberry as a beautiful Inn, where you rent out every room in the Inn. The two working fireplaces were amazing. We lit them every night for dinner and while relaxing in the family room. We didn't even bother going out for dinner, once a back in the camp we couldn't imagine a better place to be. There’s plenty of firewood and a big cart to transport the wood into the house. This camp has nothing lacking from it. Additionally, Kathie is accommodating and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property to any family or group looking for a great Adirondack vacation. Skiing at Whiteface was good and coming back home to camp Bearberry was the topping on the cake. We all can't wait to go back again!

Calling all Kiwis

5 of 5
For a unique white Xmas go no further than the apartments owned by the lovely Margaret. We have been lucky enough to stay in two different apartments owned by Margaret the first one on level 2 overlooking the pools and the next one on ground floor looking through a small wooded area. Wanting to experience a white Christmas we were not disappointed. This resort and apartments are amazing. The apartments are huge and fully equipped with full kitchen and washing machine and drier. Comfortable big sofa and chairs are perfect to snuggle up in in front of your fireplace ah heaven! The resort has so much to offer, you can do as much or as little as you like. In summary don't go past Margaret when planning your stay at Whiteface Lodge you won't find a nicer, accomodating person to deal with. Debbie NZ
