Awesome!

Charming Adarondack style lodge in a quiet location just a few minutes walk to restaurants and sports. Stocked with books and games and an idea book with information to help you make the most of your stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed Loved the fireplace. Will be back next September and have already recommend to friends. I was particularly impressed with how nice the locals were. Lots of friendly hellos on our morning walks!

Exactly what we wanted !

We rented Our Dancing Bear for the Lake Placid Ironman and it worked out perfectly. The condo was large enough for my 2 sons,a friend of theirs,my husband and myself. The bedrooms have plenty of room, and the closet in the boys room was huge ! The 2 bathrooms for all of us was wonderful, as were the washer and dryer that got plenty of use. everything in the kitchen was new, which was quite a treat. We had 3 fires in the fireplace which we all enjoyed. My only complaint would be that they could take 1 chair out of the living room so it was not so crowded otherwise it was perfect . Rudy YOU are the best to work with Thank You ! By the way, my son did complete the Ironman YEA!!

Not To Be Missed!!!

5 of 5
Even with some outdoor activities like hiking affected by the worst outbreak of tiny black gnats in many years, we had a superb time celebrating our 40th anniversary in this gorgeous, rustic luxury lodge. Every nook and cranny invites you to sit and relax, read or just watch people go by. There are smores every night at your leisure, so many amenities you'd have to stay a month to enjoy them all, and an inviting and helpful staff willing to meet your every need. We stayed in a 1st floor 1 BR condo offered by delightful owner Margaret, not the 2nd floor unit pictured here, but liked the view even better.
