Perfect!

5 of 5
This was our first time booking a vacation rental online. We were skeptical to trust the reviews as we know that not everything you read online is accurate. Once we began communicating with Greg, the owner, and then arrived at the the cabin and looked around, we knew right away that the reviews and comments we very accurate! We are familiar with the Pulaski area as we have camped in a nearby site for many years. With a growing family that now includes three children between the ages of four months and five years of age, we were looking to find something that felt more like home yet was far away from the regular routines of being at home. This cabin did that and more! It had all the necessities that a family with (or without) children would need and added luxuries to make it feel like we were on a vacation. It was beautifully secluded, kid-friendly, and close enough to local attractions that we could enjoy a different activity (fishing, Salmon River Falls, museums and historical attractions, etc.) each day. During our first night at the cabin, we were already thinking about friends and family that we could invite for future family vacations. More importantly, we were already considering a romantic getaway. (No kids allowed!) This cabin has all the bases covered in terms of who would enjoy a stay. From a guys hunting trip, ladies getaway (wine and relax), a couple's romantic retreat, to families with children of all ages, this cabin can meet all of your needs. To make the entire experience even better, Greg was wonderful to work with. He was flexible, easy to communicate with and trustworthy. As I mentioned, this was our first time planning a vacation using an online source. We had many questions and he was patient and willing to answer them. This proved to be a situation where the reviews were accurate and insightful. We trusted others reviews and our gut instincts. In the end, it was a great vacation and one that we won't forget!

AWESOME!!!

Awesome house, view and owner! My family and I stayed here in September. The home was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room and lots of extra touches including brochures on activities, books, movies, games, firepit, refrig at the water and much more. Owner went out of his way to make sure our needs were met and our stay special. The view is priceless, the front porch perfect for relaxing and the properties natural habitat stunning. We will be back, the sooner the better!! Wish I was there now!!!

Great Value and Beach

5 of 5
This property provides a lot for the money. To begin, Scott is a gem, when we arrived he went out of his way to make us feel at home. As Canadians we wanted our hockey and he spent the better part of half an hour with a wrench up on the roof trying to get the antenna to pick up a station from across the lake. He also took us for the minute walk to show us the beach. And what a beach!! I have never experienced such a wide expanse of sand on fresh water – you think you are at the ocean. Also the community has largely avoided placing their cottages too close to the water so there is the feeling of a natural setting. Oh yes, the sunsets are spectacular. The cottage is tickety-boo clean and tidy and is nicely equipped. It was a surprise to bring the blankets from our own bed – made us feel very much at home. Afeature is the two decks plus balcony where one can find their choice of sun or shade any time of the day. Also the surrounding mature trees lend a nice touch. We will be back!! Maurice & Sharon
