Wonderful week !

5 of 5
Our family had a wonderful week at this house. The location was spectacular and the house was exceptionally clean. The canoe and 2 kayaks were a fun addition especially for my grandchildren. Fishing was a nice surprise with plenty of bass and pickerel just across from our beach. We also enjoyed the music from the camp across the lake. Would definitely come back.

Perfect stay

5 of 5
Our family spent five nights at this cottage. This was a wonderful find. It is the perfect vacation spot, away from it all yet so close to many things (Lake George is about 10 minutes away on a fairly busy road that is quite safe even at night). The cottage is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We had some great evenings on the enclosed porch. It was also wonderful to have breakfast there in the morning. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked so you can save on the restaurant bill. There is a Weber barbecue, but we did not even use it. The small sandy beach is a short walk away and has a lovely diving dock that my daughter (10 years old) greatly enjoyed. It is shared with other cottages in the area, but it is not crowded at all and very quiet. There are so many activities to do beyond swimming at the beach: we tried the rodeo just around the corner, horseback riding, the Great Escape, and we spent a day at the races in Saratoga. We just did not have enough time to do all we wanted to do, and our daughter has already begged me to go back. The owners’ association also has some hiking trails, that looked nice, but we just did not have enough time. The owners, Erin and Roger, are very friendly and patiently answered all of our enquiries very quickly. I highly recommend this place.
