Best family vacation we've taken

5 of 5
These pictures don't do enough to describe the look and feel of this place. When you walk in you feel like you are in a serene mountain Lodge. We had 11 people and 2 golden retrievers and still had plenty of room.there is a great little winery down the road. My 17 yr. old son spent the week fishing, but he didn't catch Champ. Lol We are already planning for next year. What a great place. New York has it all in spades.

Peaceful retreat

Such a quaint little cabin, just perfect for my wife and I to stay at. The views were amazing and it was very peaceful. I highly recommend.

Excellent and beautiful Adirondack retreat

5 of 5
We were happily surprised to arrive at Milt and Mary's camp on Otis Mountain, and find that our rental was a large chalet house with 3 bedrooms. It was perfectly clean and well stocked. Having the fireplace on a cold night was terrific, and lent to the charm of this unique Adirondack retreat. The views from the large porches are unforgettable. It's spectacular in the morning and sunset, with Giant Mountain directly in front of you. I would highly recommend this property to a couple or a family with 2 kids. It's very close to some of the best hiking in the Upper Peak Region, for a great price. Please note that you need an AWD car to get up the steep road leading up to the camp. I highly recommend this, as it would be difficult otherwise.
