Beautiful pet-friendly lakefront cottage

5 of 5
My wife and I just needed a little getaway to relax and do some leaf peeping. Our mid October stay was just about perfect and so nice that we were able to include our dog Maks. The Cottage is immaculate with everything we could possibly need including a great view of the lake and a nice welcome call from Deb and Mark shortly after we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. We can't wait to return. we realize the cottage and area has so much to offer and hope we can take advantage of it again this summer and would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family so they could enjoy it as much as we did. To our hosts Deb and Mark thank you very much

My wife and I came for the weekend for a getaway. We had a great time thanks to the comfortable and clean house. Everything was just as promised, beautiful views and lots of peace and quiet.

Delightful tranquility

5 of 5
We must agree with all that has been said so far about Studio C and hosts John and Caroline. The apartment was exactly as described - in fact the photos do not do the space justice. All you’d need for a relaxing break in the Adirondacks is on hand. What makes Studio C so special is the presence of and accessibility to John and Caroline’s art. It is in your room; it is in the garden for you to enjoy - and the opportunity to visit the on-site workshops is a must. The heritage of the apartment itself is significant enough and John and Caroline have done an excellent job to keep the look and feel of the original buildings yet make it functional and comfortable. All in all, we had a great 4 days hiking in NY State while staying in our own private art gallery. We would not hesitate to return or recommend the apartment to friends. Many thanks.
