Truly wonderful time at this beautiful home!

5 of 5
The owners are definitely designers!. Every detail is wonderful, thought out and is a perfect mix of county charm, modern elegance and eclectic flair. Layout was great for our group, with clear separate and common spaces and without anyone feeling like we were on top of each other. Lovely evenings on the deck, beautifully maintained lawn and garden. and memorable dinners cooked outdoors. We really felt like we had a full country experience, with the beautiful open skies, the silence and the fresh mountain air. Towns of Jeffersonville and Calicoon are simply lovely with farmers markets, antique stores, cute coffee shops and a host of interesting activities. The hosts were very available to us whenever we reached out and were very accommodating of our requests. Great weekend retreat. Will definitely come back!

Amazing house in a beautiful town

5 of 5
12 of us stayed here for 2 nights and the place was just wonderful. It was cleaned to perfection and we couldn't see one spot which was missed or dirty. Linen was absolutely clean and fresh and overall decor of the house was very warm and inviting. It seemed to be kept as if the owner lives there and not as if the house is meant for renting out. There is a small ski slope nearby which is perfect for beginners, and the town has some nice restaurants and grocery stores. We really had a lot of fun, and look forward to staying here again soon!

Picture-Perfect Getaway

5 of 5
We spent 4 October weekends at Lake Jeff Cottage, and we hope to return again. We were so enchanted by this lovely cottage that feels rustic and cozy (the fireplace, the dark wood), yet has all necessary modern amenities (glass stall shower, granite countertops); it was a perfect home away from home. We made use of all of the house amenities - the row boat is delightful, as is the outdoor fire pit - and the Visitor Binder was very useful to find nearby activities. Ann and Jeff are reliable, honest, and communicative, and our expectations were surpassed with the quality and care that has gone into making Lake Jeff Cottage such a special place. We hope to be back again soon!
