SUN SETS BEYOND THE POND

5 of 5
My wife and I enjoyed a most splendiferous stay. Our respite here in Linn's charming country home delivered everything we had wished for, and needed. All of it filled our souls, from the rolling green hills, the fluttering song birds, the books that lined the shelves, and the regular visits from an elegant young fawn. We visited and were blown away with nearby Buttermilk Falls and Watkins Glen. I would recommend both of these hikes to everyone. The former was a greater workout, and the latter simply defies judicious description . . . it was like being in a different country and in a different century . . . both simply are MUST sees. We very much look forward to returning to the calm of the gentle breezes and soft sunshine offered here in this writer's haven, as well as Linn's and Grace's (her delightful doggie) warm welcome. WE'LL BE BACK!

We're so glad we choose to stay at Climbing Vine Cottage! The warmth of the fire, the sound of the rain on the roof and the gentle quietness of the land added to our rest and relaxation. We will definitely be back in winter! And spring! And summer!

GUESTBOOK COMMENT

5 of 5
My girlfriend and I stayed at the stone cottage last Fall and we could not have been more pleased, both with the accomodations and with Nancy and Buzz, they are just great. Whatever questions we had, they were right there spot-on with answers and advice. We had never been to the area and they were full of great information and suggestions, both for walks and places to which we could drive. The cottage itself is an absolute marvel, we had never seen anything like it and it looks as if every little detail had been considered and made as fine as possible. And the bed and the bathtub are worth the price of admission alone. A great great place, highly recommended.
