The Highview Villa is immaculately decorated and very comfortable. A group of six of us stayed for a long weekend and we had a great time cooking, relaxing and enjoying a quiet break from the city. Maureen and Joe were gracious hosts and left us with many suggestions of what to do in the area as well as all of the fixings to make smores! It was also a special treat to see their photo album that documented the renovation process that turned a defunct train station into a spectacular home. We spent evenings admiring the detailed craftsmanship and beauty of the grand hall while enjoying the quiet, natural setting.
Some venue highlights:
- Enormous back yard with small trails into the woods
- Bonfire pit (with s’more roasting sticks!)
- Huge living room, perfect for playing Charades
- A chef’s kitchen with everything you might need to prepare a feast, including a dishwasher to help clean up!
We had absolutely no problems with our stay and would love to go back! Hopefully for longer next time!
