The log cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need; however, electronics are a bit dated so don't expect to stay connected while you are here...which is the point! The property is situated in such a way that you can expect privacy and relaxation. It is a great property for families and in our case, a group of friends who wanted to get away from the city. We were able to take our dogs which is very important to us. The pond is not really good for swimming, but we were able to easily take some chairs and a cooler down to do some fishing. The property owners are great! We met Mike briefly who stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. We never saw him again but were assured he was just a phone call away. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet vacation near the city.

This is one for the memories. An airy A-frame cottage perched in a thick forest canopy, just the right sort of isolation and tranquility for lazy afternoons on the deck or long evenings listening to LPs by the fire. We cooked like chefs in the kitchen that seemed to have any little tool or condiment you could dream up. And we slept deeply to a symphony of crickets and bullfrogs. There are little delights hidden all over the place, which is cleanly renovated but keeps its old soul. Highly recommended..
