Happy

5 of 5
Not to many of these places are clean or even well kept. This place was very clean, cleaner than my own home (lol), and much better looking. Getting to different locations was so easy with the train being so close. What surprised me was how many restaurants we had our choice of. There are so many, and we liked many of them, but loved Red Rooster.

Perfection

5 of 5
Don't even know where to begin, everything I mean everything was perfect. The studio immaculate, Dennis awesome! Location perfect, area great! Studio had everything I needed and more, my 11 day stay was perfect, I felt safe, the studio felt like you were at home. I can't wait to return! Thank you Dennis for all the info, your literature was so helpful, great tips!

The Harlem Hideaway was a huge hit with us!

5 of 5
The wife, baby (15 mos) and I came to Manhattan for a wedding. The bride forwarded a link to the apt to me. The pics looked great and the location was perfect for us. When we arrived we were very impressed with the amount of space and the great amenities. It's clear Dennis put a lot of effort into mixing in some modern luxuries without losing all of the charm a 100+ year old building has. He has done that masterfully. Being a designer by trade has its advantages. The apartment was clean, neat, quiet and secure. I generally don't like to stay in garden units because they can make one feel vulnerable. However, we felt very safe with the number of security measures the owner has taken. Dennis was very helpful with giving us the lay of the land regarding many of the surrounding businesses and restaurants. It was so nice to walk a few blocks to the patisserie in the morning. We felt like we were part of the fabric of the neighborhood. Some of the wedding guests stayed at the Waldorf. I'm so glad we didn't. We got so much more for our money. The next time we visit NYC we'll make sure it's warmer (it snowed several inches one of the days). When we do come back we won't hesitate to stay at the Hideaway.
