OUR BEST VACATION

5 of 5
Light filled, open loft style describes this home best. The master bedroom on the first floor with our own private bath was perfect for us as my legs don’t work as well as they should anymore. All the important rooms, dining room, kitchen and living room were on the main floor making it much easier for me. It was only one step to get into this house. The pool and surround area was incredible. It was toasty warm, big and beautiful. I have never seen such a huge pool. My grandkids could swim in the shallow end and my kids were able to swim in the deep end. My husband and I loved the hot tub. Every bedroom was big and spacious and we all had our own 42” plasma TV and our own cable boxes. No one had to watch the same show. When there was not much to watch on TV, the owner had a nice size DVD library in the house. With all the little kids in the house, having two washers and dryers was a real treat. We even had two refrigerators. At night my sons played billiards in the big game room. The house was spotless. I wish we could afford to do this every year. But we will definitely come back to this house in the future. It was everything and more than I expected. I recommend it highly.

Great House & Location = Exceptional Experience!

5 of 5
I have had the good fortune to stay on a number of occasions at the Vacationer. Secluded at the end of a cul de sac, it is set in a cheery, quiet neighborhood in close proximity to East Hampton Village. On each occasion that I stayed there, upon arriving at the Vacationer, I have found the house immaculate. The first thing I did was sink into the overstuffed sofa, basking in the sunny, light-filled living room under the cathedral ceilings. The living area has an open floor plan making the Vacationer conducive to socializing while cooking in the kitchen, snacking at the bar, breakfast nook or dining room or relaxing in the cozy living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary accoutrements and more. It even came equipped with a double-boiler for making hot fudge sundaes to supplement the late night movies I watched on the enormous flat screen television! I slept in the master bedroom. It was a joy to wake in the morning, draw back the blinds and see the sun filter through the backyard. When I have stayed during the summer, the privacy of the landscaped backyard always tempts me into an early morning swim followed by a cup of coffee on a lounge chair in the sun. I found the master bed comfortable--the linens soft and spotless. The master bathroom was sparkling, and it was such a luxury to use the cedar sauna! It heats up in record time and is like having your own private spa. The Vacationer would be a fantastic property for a family vacation, a romantic retreat or a getaway for friends looking to enjoy East Hampton. As an aside, Eric, who owns the Vacationer and provides excellent service, is simply lovely. It is evident he takes great pride in the property, seeing to every detail in order to better accommodate a successful rental experience.

Beautifully decorated, centrally located home

5 of 5
Our family rented this house for 2 summers and we couldn't have been happier. It is walking distance to Southampton Village, the train station and a short bike ride to Village beaches. Brand new construction, high end furnishings, chef's kitchen made this a perfect family get-away. We highly recommend!
