Perfect stay - Lessor made all the difference!

5 of 5
I'm extremely happy with my first experience in HomeAway and especially with Cin Gonzalez. I cannot give higher kudos to her, she was all times taking care of my stay in her apartment. All my questions were answered immediately. It was also my first time in NY, so I needed help now and then. The apartment is perfect, the neighborhood is safe (taking obvious safe measures, it is located in Harlem, after all), the subway is just a couple of minutes walking (literally, it's half a block), it was 5-10 minute trip to Central Park and 15-20 to Times square). I was looking only for someplace to rest, take a warm bath and maybe have dinner. This fulfilled all my expectations. I'm already planning to go back to NY and Cin will be my first option. That's how happy I'm with my stay.

Loved it! Gonna miss it!

5 of 5
We absolutely loved this place. It was our first time using VRBO and I can't express how happy we were to go the non hotel route for our very first trip to NYC. And we'll probably do the same thing when we return. We've done a lot of traveling and this place made us feel at home. It was cozy, warm and comfortable to return to after a long day of sightseeing and walking. Personably I loved the neighborhood. It had lots of character and it close to subways which made it very convenient to get from A to Z. People were nice and helpful when asking about directions. Lots of restaurants to choose from as well, like Picante and Solace. It was safe and we felt safe. I would recommend this place for people who want to be in the chaos of NYC but RETURN to a calm, quiet and nice place to stay at and feel like you were in your own living room. Only thing To consider is the bed is a full. My spouse is 6'2 (and I'm 5'1) and us sleeping on a full was tight but a small price to pay for such an awesome stay. The owners are sweet and respond to your questions/concerns quickly... If there are any. We are gonna miss NYC. Thank you Philippe and Janine!

Very nice : )

Clean and nice apartment with shops and restaurants nearby. Less than 100 m to nearest subway. Cindy was extremely helpful and flexible. Quality with less money.
