MEMORIAL DAY 2014 - HAD A GREAT TIME

              5 of 5
We just got back from our 3 day stay at this beautiful log house. The house was clean, very well decorated and stocked with everything you may need for your family vacation. It accomodated two families of 4 with plenty of spare space. The huge lot size and access to woods made it a fun adventure for kids and adults. The house is set far back from the main road, connected through a long driveway, making it very safe for kids (6, 8 adnd 10) to play with minimal supervision. We enjoyed the firepit everynight, and the huge pile of firewood helped!! We were a little apprehensive about not having internet or cell phone connections, but we really enjoyed the opportunity to wind-down without giving-in to compulsive habits. We did not mind 20-40 minutes drive for most activities as it was well compensated by the size and comfort of the house. We didnt get to meet the owners, but the house has a certain warmth that speaks very well of them. Frank was very resposive and helpful over emails and phone. We will certainly consider staying here again!

              BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY, SPACIOUS ROOMS

              5 of 5
We had a great week in Lake George! This was our first time vacationing in Lake George. The house was a perfect for our 2 families. The house may appear small from the outside but it was surprisingly spacious and suited our group of 10 very well. The nights cool right down but each room had a fan if needed. We enjoyed dinner together every night out in the screen-in porch with the large table. The yard is very big and flat with pretty landscaping, so perfect for playing games. The lake bottom and beach is nice sand. It was so easy to dock our boat and hang out on the dock. We had fun boating, tubing and cliff jumping!! The adirondack chairs were great to relax in andthe view was outstanding, but I do wish there was a fire pit! Bolton Landing was a nice 30 min boat ride away where we enjoyed icecream and shopping. The Walmart in Ticonderoga was about a10 minute drive for groceries or essentials. The owner was friendly and very easy to work with. My family enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

              QUINTESSENTIAL LAKE GEORGE

It is difficult to describe in words what a wonderful time we had at the Demilog. The rental is even prettier than in the pictures. We made good use of the fire circle to create memories to last a lifetime. The owners, Lee and Glenn make sure your stay is worry free and comfortable. On the one day we were away from the camp, there was an awful storm. One of the ties on our boat broke loose. Lee sent the the caretaker over to secure our boat .... Thank you again for saving the day :) I highly recommend this rental unit. I hope to visit again next year
