Fabulous, funky apartment in an excellent location!

5 of 5
Our family of six (two adults and four children/teenagers) came to New York for a two week holiday over Christmas and New Year and stayed in this fantastic apartment. A very effective use of space meant there was plenty of room, and the hosts were generous and helpful (including providing some great restaurant tips). One of the key features of the apartment is its warm feel - it felt like a lovely home, tastefully yet comfortably furnished. The location of the apartment is superb - a very short walk into the centre of Greenwich Village and a stone's throw from Union Square subway and Christmas Markets. The kids loved the real Christmas tree too. We hope to be back one day!

“Wonderful Trip, Perfect place to say!”

5 of 5
This apartment was exactly what we were looking for- clean, great location to transit and some of the top sites of the city. Rachael was an amazing host. I literally booked the apartment 4 days before going to New York. She responded quickly, was easy to work with, worked with my needs, super friendly, and gave us a lot of great tidbits for enjoying NYC. I come to NYC every couple of years and will definitely use her again on my next visit.

A true 'home away' in a terrific location!

5 of 5
During our first visit to New York we stayed in this apartment and immediately felt at home. It is situated in a scenic street with some good restaurants and subway stations nearby. You can walk to Union Square, Greenwich Village and Chelsea, which are in my view the most appealing parts of New York City. The apartment is situated in a 160 year old building and it shows, but it has a lot of atmosphere, a very warm decoration and a lovely terrace. The bed was superb. In the evening there is some noise coming from the suction device of the restaurant downstairs and the restaurants guests, but we were away most of the time and the doors to the bedroom can be closed, so it did not bother us. Both beforehand and during our stay, we had the feeling that we were very welcome to stay in the apartment: there was a great communication, we were met personally and even some nice roses were there to welcome us. We can highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again on another occasion.
