A true 'home away' in a terrific location!

5 of 5
During our first visit to New York we stayed in this apartment and immediately felt at home. It is situated in a scenic street with some good restaurants and subway stations nearby. You can walk to Union Square, Greenwich Village and Chelsea, which are in my view the most appealing parts of New York City. The apartment is situated in a 160 year old building and it shows, but it has a lot of atmosphere, a very warm decoration and a lovely terrace. The bed was superb. In the evening there is some noise coming from the suction device of the restaurant downstairs and the restaurants guests, but we were away most of the time and the doors to the bedroom can be closed, so it did not bother us. Both beforehand and during our stay, we had the feeling that we were very welcome to stay in the apartment: there was a great communication, we were met personally and even some nice roses were there to welcome us. We can highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again on another occasion.

Quaint and comfortable in the West Village

4 of 5
This apartment is located in the perfect West Village location. Steps from everything imaginable ..........coffee, dining, groceries etc. Sonya, our host was extremely helpful with any and pretty much everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including helping us arrange car service to and from the airport. The unit is perfect for a family of four. The apartment itself is not large, but definitely more space than a typical NYC hotel room. We enjoyed daily walks and runs along the Hudson River, as well as strolls through Washington Square Park, and then into SoHo, or up to Chelsea for a meal. Sonya's done a great job with her flair for details and decorating the space, the pictures are all right on! Thank you Sonya for an enjoyable 2 weeks in your home!
