Become a Part of HIstory

We have rented many vacation homes over the years and this one was by far the most unique. You could just feel history coming alive at "The Station". The listing for this home was spot on in every detail and exceptionally clean. The owner could not have been more gracious and helpful. Since we stayed mid-week in April, between normal vacationing seasons, most restaurants in the area were closed. He suggested a restaurant in Broadalbin, "Wine and Roses", that while it did not have a lake view or ADK ambiance, did have wonderful food, so Willem literally saved us from having a can of soup and a sub in the Station that night. Highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful, peaceful winter getaway

5 of 5
We loved this house. The owners quickly answered all my questions before we got there, and Gant's dad met us at the house to make sure we were all set and that the driveway was plowed. And then the house itself was gorgeous and peaceful in the winter. Because it was very cold outside, we mostly stayed in and cooked in the great kitchen and sat in front of the gas fireplace. The house has a great feel that is both rustic and modern, and we wanted for nothing. I very much hope to stay here again and highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely waterfront property!

5 of 5
This home is a cozy, clean and private property on a gorgeous lake. The kitchen is newly renovated with great appliances and is fully stocked with the necessary cooking essentials. There are many bedrooms to choose from, and we slept well -- the beds are in good shape. The hosts were great to work with and very hospitable. They even recommended activities in the area. My husband and I wanted to shop for our own home and Kristie and Dave recommended GREAT antique shops within 20-30 minutes of their home. We made our very well! All in all, this is the perfect place for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views. My husband and I will definitely be coming back, and we'd recommend it friends and relatives as well.
