Great house in the woods

5 of 5
We loved staying in this delightful house last week. It accommodates big groups so easily. We hiked in the Crane Mountain area, then enjoyed the cozy comfort back at the cabin. We lit a fire in the living room stove for extra coziness. Everything in order, very commodious. I hope to be back again many times. Betsy Vivas

A place like paradise

5 of 5
Our group of twelve just spent this Labor Day long weekend at this incredible place, like one of my friend described – a place like paradise. The property is in such a secluded location yet still closes enough to traffic, restaurants and grocery shopping. The house was roomy and clean with sufficient supply of almost everything you may need; Nancy and Joel have taken good care of the property. The clear pond and its surrounding are tranquil places, we spent joyful moments there. There are several quality restaurants along the main street of North Creek (although we really like BBQ beside the pond, the BBQ stove was a high-quality one, BTW); we hiked to OK Slip Falls, the highest waterfall in the Adirondacks. We had terrific time there both in the property and around the area. Thanks for Nancy and Joel making the house a comfortable place to stay and local information you provided, and Kate, for your arrangement and timely replies.

Enchanting home in the woods!

5 of 5
My mom, husband and I travelled to New England twice in the past 2 years and this was the highlihgt of our trup. The owner could not have been nicer and her parents stopped by to make sure everything was okay with us as well. We met them later at a garage sale. Nice, nice people! The home is gorgeous inside, the pictures do not do it justice, everything is in the kitchen, even a few appliances I did not recognize and I cook a lot!!!! Having one bedroom downstairs and then a loft area and 2 bedrooms upstairs meant we could stay together and yet have some privacy at night. Everything was immaculate and the woods around the home are gorgeous, especially in the fall!!!!! Thanks for sharing your amazing house with us, my mom June would have written sooner, but we came back to my dad needing bypass surgery and so could not review until now. Next time we come to Newy England, this is the place we will stay!
