We come back here every summer!

5 of 5
I've been coming to Fire Island for a very long time and have rented several houses over the years, and this by far is one of the best. It's comfortable, spacious enough for my family, bright and clean, and has a warm welcoming vibe. The south-of-Midway location is prime, so close to the beach that you can hear the waves at night. The back deck is private, peaceful and perfect for outdoor meals. Rochelle and Bob are gracious and generous hosts. This was our fourth consecutive summer renting their lovely home; there's a reason we keep coming back each year!

Great Rental

5 of 5
We stayed here for a week (2 couples, 1 kid) and had a great time. It's clean, in a quiet area, and very close to the beach. We'd stay here again!

Great House in fantastic secluded location

5 of 5
This lovely house is really located directly on the sandy beach of Fire Island, with fantastic views from most rooms to the Atlantic Ocean and to the beach. It is located approx. 20 min away from the "Ocean Beach" Ferry terminal by walking, which adds to the honeymoon-like feeling in that great place. The owner provides a wagon with 2 big wheels to help transporting the luggage and groceries from the Ferry and from the Town Center to this secluded house, partly walking thru a sand path. Although we were there during high season, there hardly were any people on the beach, and it was very nice and quiet around the house. Although not huge, the inside and the outside of this house are very much thought thru: we enjoyed to sit on the big eastern wooden deck of the house in the morning, and on the big western wooden deck in the evening. On windy days, the living room with its fantastic views (thru the big panoramic windows) was our favourite place. The owner of the house went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible: She had informed us about a pending strike of the LIRR railroad beforehand, and she had recommended to us an alternative arrival method with a local car service. We had a great time, and we hope to come again in the future!
