A perfect little getaway cabin on the lake.

5 of 5
We could find nothing wrong with this place. A nice relaxing retreat on the lake that would be great for a couple or a small family, although there were accommodations in the boat house for more. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice cozy getaway. We enjoyed Ithaca and Watkins Glen State Park, both just a short drive from the cabin.

Love this place!!

I have been here a few times and have a great stay every time! My friends and I stayed in the "New" cabin and really enjoyed hanging out on the deck after wine tasting and using the firepit at night (cold nights!). Thanks for another great vacation!

A gem in the Finger Lakes! Near Ithaca!

5 of 5
This is a special property in the Finger Lakes, a short drive from Ithaca. The description is accurate but a little to modest. While this cabin and guest house have rustic charm, they are beautifully decorated, nicely furnished and built for a get-away. We had a large extended family group and their was plenty of room for all. Even when the rain came, folks settled in to rockers on the covered porch. Whether you want to kayak on the lake, sit on the deck overlooking the lake, gather round the fire pit, grill on the porch or play pool in the lower level of the main cottage, you can do it all at Cayuga Cabins. And it is all just a short drive from Cornell/Ithaca. The owners are terrific to deal with -- they have the rental process down to a science and provided useful and helpful information as our rental time approached. My only reluctance at leaving this (well-deserved) positive review is that this property may be more difficult to book in the future!
