Personal Service is Amazing and Property Wonderful!

5 of 5
We came to Fairway Suites after a disappointing booking for a nearby cottage that was misrepresented by the owner. They had room for us immediately and accommodations were found for us that suited and really more than met our needs. The manager is a gem and is there to help with everything one could possibly need. The staff was friendly and helpful always. All is all it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Being right on a beautiful golf course was a real plus! Pond and golf course views, great roomy rooms, A/C when needed, our own laundry room, gorgeous flower gardens, a beautiful heated salt water pool and a fully equipped gym just add to the experience.

Fantastic views and room for everyone!

What was initially planned as a family getaway for seven became an extended family gathering with up to 20+ people at one point during the day... and there was room for everyone! This clean, well-kept home was a perfect place for our vacation. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. The bunk room was a bit cozy, but it really is only intended for sleeping anyway. The huge table in the dining area was a great gathering place and the kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking needs, although the large gas grill was our primary cooking implement. Our days were spent on the HUGE deck enjoying the sunshine and summer breezes. The view of the lake is spectacular and the canoe and kayaks were enjoyed by all. The fire pit was enjoyed nightly (but remember to bring your own wood -- we found someone selling firewood by the road and bought some). The roads around the lake weren't too busy and were suitable for going for a run or a walk with older children (not sure I'd take a toddler though). The kids were thrilled with the ice cream shop across the street too! We also managed to take the short drive over to Panama Rocks for a fun day climbing around in the woods. We highly recommend it. Michelle answered all of our questions promptly and was a joy to deal with. We would rent here again in a heartbeat.
