With limited accommodation options during NYFW and the US Open, we settled on this apartment, mainly due to the 'sleeps 4' option and the proximity to subway stations. We had a 5 night stay with 3 of us, and it was absolutely perfect, better than a hotel room for double the price. 45 stories up you don't have any street/construction noise, and the long elevator ride up reminds you of the exclusivity that this beautiful vintage club has. We used the gym a few times, and it is better than most hotel gyms I've been to (and i've been to a few).
Location and convenience is everything in manhattan and we never walked or waited more than a few minutes to get onto a train at the Rector st or Bowling Green stops, often travelling to Brooklyn or Uptown.
The communication was okay and the beds were clean and comfortable. Access to the rooftop garden was limited due to a fob issue, but a kind gentleman opened the door for us anyway and it was a view to rival the rockefeller centre (we actually crossed that off the tourist list after seeing the rooftop views) I would recommend it for 3-4 people again and would definitely look at staying at this spectacular apartment again.
