Great House & Location = Exceptional Experience!

5 of 5
I have had the good fortune to stay on a number of occasions at the Vacationer. Secluded at the end of a cul de sac, it is set in a cheery, quiet neighborhood in close proximity to East Hampton Village. On each occasion that I stayed there, upon arriving at the Vacationer, I have found the house immaculate. The first thing I did was sink into the overstuffed sofa, basking in the sunny, light-filled living room under the cathedral ceilings. The living area has an open floor plan making the Vacationer conducive to socializing while cooking in the kitchen, snacking at the bar, breakfast nook or dining room or relaxing in the cozy living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary accoutrements and more. It even came equipped with a double-boiler for making hot fudge sundaes to supplement the late night movies I watched on the enormous flat screen television! I slept in the master bedroom. It was a joy to wake in the morning, draw back the blinds and see the sun filter through the backyard. When I have stayed during the summer, the privacy of the landscaped backyard always tempts me into an early morning swim followed by a cup of coffee on a lounge chair in the sun. I found the master bed comfortable--the linens soft and spotless. The master bathroom was sparkling, and it was such a luxury to use the cedar sauna! It heats up in record time and is like having your own private spa. The Vacationer would be a fantastic property for a family vacation, a romantic retreat or a getaway for friends looking to enjoy East Hampton. As an aside, Eric, who owns the Vacationer and provides excellent service, is simply lovely. It is evident he takes great pride in the property, seeing to every detail in order to better accommodate a successful rental experience.

Luxury & Privacy Close to East Hampton Village!

5 of 5
The Northwester, as this airy and cheery property is known, is a private oasis which feels like home. I only wish I had a kitchen as beautiful as this one! The kitchen, which is practically brand new, looks straight out of a magazine or the website Houzz. Beautiful slate floors with white cabinetry, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a carrera marble back splash. It looks expensive and feels luxurious. Having stayed there, I am now having my own kitchen renovated in this style! The living and dining rooms are an open layout and have vaulted ceilings. As a result, the house feels spacious and summery. I loved the layout of the living and bedrooms. Having two of the bedrooms upstairs provides for extra privacy, and the downstairs bedroom was helpful for my elderly relatives that preferred not to climb stairs. The bathrooms have all been recently renovated and are immaculate. I loved having coffee on the back deck overlooking the huge back yard and pool. It was very private and peaceful--only the birds to interrupt my meditation. The pool was large, clean and so inviting that I only made it to the beach once during my stay! Overall, the house was spotless--cleanliness is particularly important to me--comfortable and well-equipped. Also, Eric, who oversees the property, was extremely helpful and made checking in and out of the house easy and quick.

Perfection. Period.

5 of 5
The Villager is aptly named as it is a stone's throw from East Hampton village. I loved that I could walk to the Village restaurants, shops and theaters even when I was feeling lazy. I even biked to the beach! The home is located on a little cul-de-sac with almost no traffic, and it is very private because of the beautiful hedges and landscaping. The house itself is stunning. It is tastefully decorated in a luxurious fashion. All the linens and bedspreads are white and crisp. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and the washer/dryer is available without having to leave the main floor. There is a bedroom, bathroom and den downstairs which provides a nice place to stash the kids, There is a bedroom and adjoining bath on the main floor which was convenient for my elderly relatives who preferred to avoid stairs. And there are three bedrooms and two baths upstairs. The bathrooms are very clean and attractive with stylish tiles and glass-enclosed showers. I also particularly appreciated the wood floors--no carpeting in this sophisticated house. Also, the living and dining rooms both open through sliding glass doors onto the beautiful backyard. I loved sitting in the sun in the backyard having my coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. It was totally private, and the landscaping was gorgeous. The pool had blue stone surrounding it, and the outdoor furniture was iron with intricate details--like I was in my own English garden! I can't say enough about the cohesion and attention to detail in this house. Also, I must mention the terrific service I received from booking to checking in to recommendations on where to go in East Hampton. All around, I had an amazing experience at the Villager and look forward to returning again.
