Incredibly Relaxing & Comfortable!

5 of 5
My family and I came to this wonderful log cabin during Labor Day weekend. Pictures don't do this place justice! This log home was very clean, well maintained, and HUGE! There are no pictures of the camp fire, but trust me when I tell you that it's right on the river and is gorgeous!! The grill on the deck was well taken care of and well supplied with gas and all utensils. The kitchen was very well stocked with all you'll need for any type of cooking. The bedrooms were very clean with fresh sheets. You can really tell that Maureen & Jon really love this place because of how well they take care of it! Maureen & Jon were very very nice and answered all our questions right away. Maureen & Jon, my family had an amazing & relaxing time during our stay! Thank you! Will definitely rent this place again! Sincerely, Kristina & Fillip R.

Unbelievably big house with something for everyone.

We just returned from a weekend at the "mansion." We were a group of 27 family members three generations (15 grandkids ages 5-25). Everyone had a great time. The game room was wonderful and we actually ended up dancing under the disco ball on the dance floor. The indoor pool was a huge plus, and all the kids had a blast. The reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars are: there's no central air, and only 4 of the 16 bedrooms have air conditioning; none of the bathrooms upstairs had any towel racks or hooks to hang your towels on; The oversized deck only had one table to seat 6 (and it was rusty) and the deck chairs are those old chalky white plastic ones; there is absolutely no artwork (or photos) of any kind on any wall in the house and the bedrooms didn't have any nightstands or lamps. It really shouldn't be described as a mansion because it isn't. It's just a GIGANTIC house.

Just As described

Cabins were very nice. The River was close by. The area tackle shops are a disgrace bring, whatever you can with you. Communication with Pat was good. Koo Koose Grille was nearby with good food for dinner.
