Excellent house for a Fishing Getaway/Get-together

5 of 5
A group of my friends, 8 of us in all, have been doing an annual fishing trip in the Catskills for almost 10 years now. We dont all get together to often so when we do we need a few things: A proper kitchen (as we are all "foodies"), a great space to relax and hang out and a location ON the river right at the fishing action. This house has it all! One other reviwer said that the pictures dont do the place justice and I think thats correct. Theres a huge deck for relaxing in the sunshine and a spacious living room with TV and wood burning stove if you get a rainy evening. It also has an awesome bar with stools and a games table! We always get a place on the water but inevitably end up driving or hiking to a different location where we feel the fishing is better. Not at this house. The action in the back yard is better than any other spot I've found on any of the rivers in the Catskills. This is evident by all the locals fishing the far banks. We caught several 2 - 3lb trout right behind the house. I'd add that the place was clean and much bigger than the photos depict. I'm looking forward to the 2016 trip already. Thanks Jon.

Perfect

5 of 5
This property is a perfect getaway. With the private swimming pond, multiple docks, screened in decks and gazebo, babbling brook, hot tub, horse shoes, fire pit, multiple BBQ grills in a beautiful setting that is well taken care of - what else could you want?! Well if you must leave the property, the town of Narrowsburg is adorable and you're a short drive from the Delaware River Gap & all the recreation it affords. I want to return to this property in every season!

So fantastic!

5 of 5
This was an absolute charming place to stay! House was very comfortable, well-maintained and just what we wanted. The view from the back porch was stunning at morning and at night. We even got to see some wild turkeys and deer on the property! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!
