Idyllic house on the Great Sacandaga Lake

        5 of 5
Foxrun is the perfect house for large groups. The house is huge and well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable and the owners were thoughtful enough to stock the kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils one could want. On rainy days, there are plenty of things to keep one amused including a pool table, board games and two enormous tvs. The surrounding area is so beautiful and from the top of the property you can see the Great Sacandaga Lake and the rolling hills. I cannot wait to return.

        Amazing Lakefront home

        5 of 5
We rented this property the fourth week of July. Having never been to the Adirondacks,we didn't know what to expect. Needless to say, we were more than pleasantly surprised when we opened the front door. The house is beautiful, very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed watching the sun set from the back deck. The back deck is so huge that you can find a sunny or shady spot and sit out there any time of the day. The water was warm and very clean. The ladder from the dock made it easy to get in and out of the water. This is the part of the lake where you want to stay because the water is much rougher on the wider part of the lake. I thought there would be a lot of mosquitoes but we were able to sit around the fire pit comfortably and enjoy marshmellows on several nights. Easy ride to Saratoga Springs. Went lazy river tubing down the Hudson. Perfect house to get away from the crowds. I would highly recommend it.

        We'll be back next year......

We were overwhelmingly pleased with the accommodations at the cottage. It everything promised and more. From the boat rides on the lake , the fishing lessons in the cove (sorry about your reel) to the homemade peanut butter pie, Phyllis and Marino could not have been more hospitable. We look forward to our next visit and plan on making a stay at the cottage an annual event.
