Great house layout, huge property, def. worth it

            5 of 5
Can't say enough good things about the house and property. 15 of my friends and I went for a weekend getaway from NYC. The layout of the house is great because you can have privacy and quiet in a basement bedroom when you need it, or go to the 2nd fl to the game room for all the fun activities. Everything was accurate on the listing, and everything, including the batting cage machine, worked. Besides some spider webs outside, which is expected, everything was clean. Jody is a great owner who is very in touch with what is going on at the house or any activities or supplies stores nearby. He was available all weekend via call or text. Sometimes the cell service was bad, but the 2 separate WiFis made up for that. Besides all the activities you can do in the game room and the backyard property, there are some other options nearby. Since it rained on Saturday, we were not able to go kayaking nearby, so instead we went hiking at Kaaterskill Falls. It is worth the 30 min drive. If there is one thing I would fix, it's that more lighting needs to be placed by the grill. I would recommend this house to everyone, as long as you keep your noise level down at night to a reasonable level (just close the windows) you will be fine. We were all impressed with how well-kept the house was. You can't get bored at this house. Can't wait to go back.

            Spectacular Summer Getaway

            5 of 5
We came as a group of 8 from Manhattan on a beautiful weekend - it was perfect for venturing outdoors! The home is modern and very spacious, with all the listed amenities. Not only did the property provided us with many fun options (grilling on a beautiful porch, kayaking/canoeing on the Hudson, campfire under the stars), but it is also a convenient drive to the Catskills. I recommend Kaaterskill Falls (about a 40 minute drive) if you're looking for hiking, swimming, or just catching a breathtaking view of the waterfall there. I'd love to come back here for another season, perhaps a ski trip. Thank you, Monica!
