Great weekend, great house, very attentive owner.

5 of 5
The owner, Jody, was incredibly attentive to our needs, although we had few, since he takes very good care of all the systems and amenities. The property was as described if not better, which is to say it wasn't exaggerated for the ad. We had a great time using everything in the game room, the outdoor fireplaces, the yard, volleyball, batting cage, trampoline, dock, etc. Great place for several families, with kids of all ages. Great venue for people who want to be active, or just to hang out - we did as much of both as we could. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We'd note that the folks at the neighboring marina were very friendly, as was the local police officer who stopped by to introduce himself and check that everything was okay. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. Even though everything else was great, the commercial ice machine alone was worth it! Just be aware that part of your contract is to bring certain essentials, so pay attention to the details and you won't go wrong.

Spectacular Summer Getaway

5 of 5
We came as a group of 8 from Manhattan on a beautiful weekend - it was perfect for venturing outdoors! The home is modern and very spacious, with all the listed amenities. Not only did the property provided us with many fun options (grilling on a beautiful porch, kayaking/canoeing on the Hudson, campfire under the stars), but it is also a convenient drive to the Catskills. I recommend Kaaterskill Falls (about a 40 minute drive) if you're looking for hiking, swimming, or just catching a breathtaking view of the waterfall there. I'd love to come back here for another season, perhaps a ski trip. Thank you, Monica!
