Absolutely gorgeous home - Cooperstown Dreams Park

                                  5 of 5
WOW!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Issy did a fabulous job of stocking the home, very well appointed. We found it a very relaxing place to come back to after being at the Dreams Park all day. Sitting on the deck for coffee in the morning and looking out over the serene lake was a highlight each day. The attention to detail throughout the inside is impeccable! You can just look all around and tell there is history behind all of those wood beams. While not at the house we were at The Dreams Park and in downtown Cooperstown browsing around. Make sure to check out the Hall of Fame and Double Day Field. Best restaurants in Cooperstown - Alex & Ika, Ommegang Brewery, Sal's Pizza. If you stop in Oneonta check out The Red Caboose- excellent food as well. If your son forgets any of his gear for Cooperstown there is a Dick's Sporting Goods not far from the house. If we should ever be back in Cooperstown we would defiantly stay here again!

Only place to stay while visiting area!!

                                  5 of 5
We came to area for son's baseball tourney at Cooperstown Dreams Park. 95% of the team families stayed in local hotels, and didn't have a great experience. They also paid more than we did at our stay at the Circle In. That being said, we made the best choice by far! What a great experience. Very nice accommodations, spacious apartment, beautiful spot right on the lake, wonderful owners. Only 9 miles from park, took about 12 minutes. So worth it! They provide everything, from Dixie cups and paper towel, to cooking supplies, sheets and towels, firewood, kayaks and life vests and more. We very much enjoyed swimming in the lake, BBQ at the grill, using the kayaks, sitting by the fire - alone and with the owners John and Nancy, spending time away from the park in a unique setting - much more special than a hotel room, etc. Also some nice things to do in area, such as Ommegang Brewery, Bear Pond Winery, Fly Creek Cider Mill, etc. Would HIGHLY recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.

                                  Perfect Location

                                  4 of 5
We loved this house and the location. Cherry Valley is the perfect location for visiting Sharon Springs, 10 minutes away and Cooperstown, 20 minutes away yet so private and rural feeling. The home is clean and the pictures are accurate. The woodwork in the home is wonderful and plenty of room for everyone. The weather did not permit use of the fireplace, which I was hoping to do, but can only imagine it would add to the coziness of the living room. The grounds are amazing for exploring, and picking apples from the trees. Had everything you need to cook a meal for nights you just want to stay in. The tv is small and there is no internet, but we found that we didnt end up watching tv for more than the weather report and our iPhone's sufficed for internet because we were too busy exploring the area. Suzanne was so nice to work with and she responded quickly when we had questions. We would recommend this house if you are visiting the area!
