Wonderful week on Lake George

5 of 5
Our family stayed for the second time at this great property in Cleverdale. We were 15 including my husband and I, our 5 children and spouses and 5 grandchildren between the ages of 1 through 8. The house and apartment were great for the families and single "kids" and we enjoyed being slightly apart in the boat house. Days were spent in Lake George or Bolton Landing, lunch at Suttons. The little kids loved the Magic Forest. Late afternoons and evenings were spent on the dock, enjoying the beautiful sunsets, the family swimming off the dock (the kids had swimmies on) and fishing. The grandkiddies enjoyed catching the sunnies and the rest of us had success later in the evening. It is a wonderful relaxing vacation and the owner, Pam, makes sure you have everything you need and is available by phone should you have any questions. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone!

Perfect Fall Weekend

5 of 5
While the fall colors weren't fully up, the temperature was - close to 80 degrees throughout our 4 day stay, almost like summer. We took advantage of it by hiking, cooking out, hanging out by the lake and yes, even swimming! It's obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their home, the house is immaculate and the outdoor property is beautiful and well kept. One surprise was the number of separate living areas in the house. In addition to the great room there's another comfortable TV room/den on the main floor, an upstairs loft which made a great office (hey, you gotta check your e-mail) and huge game room with TV downstairs. The owner called shortly after we arrived to answer any questions and to wish us a good time :) There's really no downside to this place, it's beautiful inside and out and is in an excellent location - far enough up to be very quiet and private but close enough to the village if you have to go there (we had kids with us, so mini golf was a requirement). Everyone in our group had spent their summers in Lake George as kids so we know the area well. Whether this is your first time to the Adirondacks or if you're a return visitor, you'll be thrilled with this property. We hope to return soon!
