Amazing get away

5 of 5
This was an amazing get away from the city. The owner Mary and her husband were so courteous and answered all our questions promptly. I definitely plan on going here again in the near future. Ski resorts were only 30 minutes away!

Peace and Quiet

5 of 5
My girlfriend and I spent weeks looking for cabins/lodges in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and New York that fit our expectations when we came across Wild Cat Mountain Cottage. We wanted seclusion and we got it. It was great to take our two dogs off the leashes and have them run around the property and through all the trails we found. We even drove the short distance to the river where we ate lunch on a sandy beach while our dogs played in the water. The first night we arrived we got the fire going, sat by it every night and just read our books. Very cozy inside and the seclusion outside really makes you feel like your on your own, which made for a perfect getaway. Even snowed on our last day there! The owner is extremely helpful and easy to contact for any questions.

Tranquil weekend getaway

5 of 5
A very tranquil location on the top of the hill in the Catskills. The cabin was cozy with a large front porch overlooking the a beautiful country garden. The pine wooded bedroom was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped including cooking spices and seasoning for a country meal. We enjoyed watching our greyhound Jenny run around the fern garden till she's happy and then come up to sit with us on the porch. Bill and Mary was generous to share their vegetable garden with us. We had a fresh out of the garden delicious heirloom tomatoes and basil salad with our dinner one night. They also gave recommendations for nearby hikes. We had a great weekend overall and would recommend the cabin for a couple or two for a tranquil country weekend.
