Awesome house, really fun weekend

5 of 5
This was our second great Memorial Day weekend here. My husband and I were looking to take our 2 and 4 year olds for a fun but peaceful few days in the Adirondacks and this is the perfect place for it. The house is extremely clean and spacious, with lots of windows and a great outdoor space. We walked back and forth to the lake all day to swim, fish, canoe, and just relax. We also did a few short local hikes, even right from the house. Some great places in town to eat and grab ice cream. At night, we sat in the Adirondack chairs outside the house and made S’mores. Hoping to return this winter for snowmobiling and to take the kids skiing for the first time. Definitely recommend staying here.

very nice

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the perfect secluded jewel to spent restful vacations. We rented the lodge in August for one week. The house is well equipped and very comfy. The kitchen is large and the new gas burners installed in the old stove is a nice touch. Our 2 teenagers used the ping pong table every day. We spent one day on a motorboat we rented at the lake nearby, the Loon Lake. Another day we did a white rafting trip. The region has a lot to offer for athletic family as well as more quiet vacationers: small antique stores, nice walks and restaurants. I spent a lot hours reading in the living room underneath the skylights. We are hoping we’ll be back!
