Perfect weekend in cozy cabin

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I spent a wonderful winter weekend in the cabin. The place is beautiful surrounded by snow with utter silence all around. It feels truly secluded. Inside it is so cozy with a wood stove and additional heating to keep the place toasty. It was easy to cook our own meals and watch tv/movies in the cabin. It was also easy to explore the surrounding areas -- within an hour drive to some great places like Howe Caves and Cooperstown. This was truly a great getaway from hectic city life. It must be beautiful in the summer time as well. The owner was easy to communicate with and all transactions were seamless. He made the whole experience enjoyable and I would recommend this cabin to anyone seeking what we experienced.

Great winter retreat!

5 of 5
We stayed her with our in-laws for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic. The location was just between Boston and Buffalo, which was perfect for us. We did bring our own pots and pans since we were making Thanksgiving dinner, so I can't speak to what's in the kitchen. It's a great site for snowshoeing and the fireplace was perfect. It was truly like going back in time. The bedrooms are all upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, so be aware of that if it's an issue.
