Comfortable, Great view, spacious & great for kids

5 of 5
We had a Thanksgiving gathering (memorial) at Shawn's lovely Cedar Log Home. Our group was large with multi-age extended family members. Shawn made comfortable arrangements for our stay and was very helpful in every way. The kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of large pots and pans, plenty of utensils, spices, misc. extras. The fireplace is cozy, and the living room large and spread out with wonderful views of the lake. A nice mix of mingling and private spaces. We had a soccer game in the snow on the lawn. The deck is huge and right off the kitchen. The house is set back and up from the road - a nice private location but easy to get into town. Lovely rolling hills and farms in this area too. The lake is beautiful. The place is clean and well maintained. The radiant heat made the floors warm on bare feet - especially the bathrooms. Lots of games and things to do in the house for family.

An absolutely wonderful sprawling clean and comfy family-owned lake-shore cabin - with very sweet and friendly owners! it had everything I wanted - creaky wide-planked warm wood floors, softly banging screen doors, a gorgeous view of the lake from our beds, squirrels bouncing around the yard fireplaces crackling inside and a bonfire outside waves lapping up against the shore a wooden dock with canoes and kayaks tethered waiting for us a beautiful lake the smell of pine - and a huge dining room table for our family to gather round. Heaven.
