              Perfect vacation.

Main log cabin is beautifully decorated like a log cabin should be, moose head, lanterns, rustic furniture but sooo comfortable. Enormous table fit all 12 of us. Kitchen well stocked, coffee pot and kcup! Lots of outdoor seating, fire pit and grill. Guest house simpler but comfortable for our grown daughters, 17-20 (4). Owner is terrific and quick to respond. If have elderly or real young, the water is many steps down, across railroad tracks (a train came by) and, therefore, the return trip back to the house can be a bit strenuous. Nice canopied landing to sit under that overlooks the lake. We hiked many gorges, ate and laughed all together as a family being so close in proximity on one property. Private. Lovely, spacious and comfortable. Many Thanks. Great vacation.

Cozy cottage very close to lake

We stayed in this cute little cabin for our honeymoon. The cabin was fully set up with towels, linens, and kitchen appliances and utensils. There is a short staircase to the lake. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock and kayaking everyday (boats included). The cabin is near other houses but we never noticed this. It was very private! It is located very close to downtown Ithaca, so it would be perfect for graduations and other events happening in town. We hope to come back!!

              Super place!

We spent the weekend here for Ithaca's Graduation. The cabin is located a good 20 min. from Campus but the drive is easy and there are a couple of stores along the way to pick up last minute grocery items if needed. The cabin is lovely. Roomy and very functional. We cooked 3 of the 4 nights for a large group of people. Plenty of table space with chairs. The house was clean when we arrived. Betsy had the coal stove on for us when we arrived which was a welcome seeing that it was cold and rainy. It provided warmth for the entire house all weekend. Betsy is great! Email communication was timely, directions to the house accurate and in person, wonderful to talk with. We found the house through friends who had stayed there in 2013. We would definitely recommend this to friends as well.
