warm cozy and convenient

This is a country house which has stunning views of fall creek from many of the windows. It is very handy to both ithaca College and Cornell. It was very clean and tidy and warm. There are lots of games to play, puzzles, books and movies if you should desire a resting day in the home. Great porches and rocking chairs to hang out in also. If you get the chance to rent this, you will not be disappointed. The pantry is full of whatever you may need to cook also. The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The rooms are warm and beautiful. It is a jewel that I have discovered two years too late as my daughter is a junior in college already.

James habermann and Mary

5 of 5
A wonderful fall getaway from Long Island I was looking for a special getaway for mary and I. Knowing that Mary had always wanted to live in a log cabin I went on line and there it was Betsey and Alan log cabin. Made the reservation for the week of Halloween week. The dirtions to the the cabin was rite on the money. When Mary saw it she loved it. There was everything you needed the only thing we had to bring was food. The home was heated with a coal stove it was nice and warm and there was a nice gas stove to in the living room. We really enjoyed the town with lots of shops wasn't each time in the day to see all of them.betsey was very helpful with anything you needed very friendly. We saw a lot of deer in the corn field. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle from your everyday life I would very much recommend this lovely Log cabin.we will be coming back.

The most amazing hidden gem!

5 of 5
We stayed at the cabin with our family for our marriage at the Aurora Inn. The stay could not have been more perfect. From the moose head in the living room to the carefully stacked wood near the fire pit to the lakeside view that is breathtaking, it is an all around private gem of an escape that is hard to find these days. Steve was such a wonderful host and made sure our stay was perfect from day one. The rooms are very comfortable and it was very clean. Great for large families wanting an escape that is filled with nature, gathering by the fire and making memories for a lifetime. 5 stars from start to finish!
