          Perfect Getaway for a Couple

          5 of 5
The studio was just what we were looking for. It was immaculate. The pull out couch was comfortable enough. The shower was off the kitchen, and although unique, my wife loved it. The kitchen was well stocked. The property was large and private. We barely saw the guest staying in the Herb Cottage. Judy was very helpful. We are vegans and she recommended Garden Cafe on the Green. We ate there for three meals in two days. Needless to say we loved it. Oriole 9 was also excellent. The walk to town was nice (.6 miles). If you like hiking there is a 2.5 mile uphill trail at the end of Meads Rd near KTD. The end of the trail has an observation tower with tremendous views. I highly recommend the studio and would stay there again.

          Perfect little getaway

          4 of 5
My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and we are wishing we were still there. With two sofas, tables, and queen bed there was ample room to sprawl out yet was compact enough to still be cozy. The incredible vaulted wood ceiling with skylights also added to the ambiance. Since this was a summer visit, the AC and ceiling fan kept us very comfortable. The natural cobblestone shower was also great. Luckily there were a lot of towels because we got to take advantage of the hot tub. The fire pit was the cherry on top, and given its placement we could light the fire outside, and open the front windowed doors to watch it from inside the cottage at night. Our only minor quip was that the bedsheets smelled a little musty. Overall, though, staying here was as easy and pleasant as could be. What a wonderful gem. :)
