we absolutely loved it! Close to shops and quiet!

5 of 5
Was wonderful and relaxing! So close to everything yet so very quiet and tucked away! We had the fire going just about the entire time with beautiful view of mountains! Was absolutely perfect! :) we are going to go back over and over again for sure!

Great private getaway

5 of 5
The place was exactly what I was expecting based on the pictures - very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Ruth, the owner, was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place, especially as a romantic getaway.

Interesting Loft With Great History

5 of 5
My wife, dog and I spent 3 nights at the apartment while we day hiked and explored in the area. The apartment is not modern, but has a lot of charm. The windows face the main street and the downtown bustle. The living room is very big and has a sitting room off to the side. The kitchen had all we needed. This was our first stay and we would consider renting again. The Cheese Barrel across the street has excellent coffee and good food. We hit the Bun N Cone for breakfast which was also good. The Supermarket is only a block away and is modern. Overall we had a great 3 nights. I wanted to experience the village of Margaretville and see the area, we were not disappointed.
